Can I order a GI Map Test to anywhere in the world?
Currently GI Map tests are only available to those that reside in Canada or the US. The GI Map test is not availble to those living in New York, New Jersey or Rode Island. If you reside in one of these areas please reach out to Maryanne before ordering your test
How long will it take to get my results?
Once you have completed the sample it takes roughly 7-10 buisness days for Maryanne to receive your results. Once your results are availble please allow 72 hours for Maryanne to interpret your results and put together your personalized protocol
Is the GI Map covered by insurance?
Unfortunetly most insurance companies do not cover the cost of the GI Map test (hopefully this will change one day!) Aftr ordering the test you can submit a claim with your insurance company to see if they will reinburse a portion of the test

Will this test tell me what foods to eat/avoid?
Your results can definitely help point you in the right directions when it comes to knowing what foods to limit and which ones to eat that will help support your gut. It can determine if you have a sensativty to gluten and indicate if following a low FODMAP, anti-candida or anti-inflammatory diet would be benefical for you
Can the GI Map show if I have SIBO?
The most accurate way to test for SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) is by running a breath test. Although the GI Map looks at the microbiome of your large intestine it can give clues to potential overgrowth int he small intestine as well. If you suspect that you may be dealing with SIBO running a GI Map test first is a good place to start to determine if additional testing is required.
